He was born at 3:32 PM on 4/25. He weighed in a 8lbs 14oz. Mom and baby are doing VERY well, and Maddy even seems to be fine with everything. Drew is a very good eater and has so far been very good about going back to sleep after his middle-of-the-night feedings. Let's hope he keeps it up. I've got one week left of my two week paternity leave and then Jen is left to fend for herself. ;)

Jen's due date is in about a week and a half. We're both really excited and really anxious at the same time. Even Maddy talks to Drew and tells him to "come out soon." We're hoping she remains as positive about the whole experience once he's here... yeah right! ;)

Maddy is now in daycare 3 days per week, and she loves it. Part of that is because she has all of the staff wrapped around her finger, so she basically runs the place. On one hand we're not super happy that she's so spoiled but on the other hand it's nice to know that people other than us have a hard time resisting her cuteness.

I also just switched to a different web hosting provider and the speed of the site should be noticeably improved. I had to re-work a bunch of the code to jive with the new version of the framework I'm using, so let me know if you encounter any issues.

Quite a bit has happened since our last news update. Jen quit her job and is now staying home with Maddy. I was laid off and got a new job. Jen is pregnant again. The due date is April 21st. I'm hoping for a boy. Jen is more neutral, but says she has a feeling it's a boy. We hope to find out around Thanksgiving time. Madison is growing up so fast. She's jabbering all the time now. Some of her favorite things include: Cars (the movie), puppies, torturing our cats, dancing, and ring-around-the-rosie. We started family swim lessons, and she loves the water but is not so great with following a structured lesson. She's too much of a free spirit, and isn't hesitant about saying "NO!" when she doesn't want to do something. Nona and grandpa come to visit in 2 weeks, and I'm sure they'll spoil her rotten while they're here.
